- Christopher Stone and Dee Wallace were married in real life, until Christoper's death.
- Rick Hurst, who plays the movie director, is probably best known for his role as Deputy Cletus Hogg on The Dukes of Hazzard. This episode originally aired the day after his third appearance on that show.
- The crash where Dennis reverses into the red Cadillac was filmed on the Paxton Street off-ramp from the Foothill Freeway, a much used location. The original crash where the blue van hits the patrol car was filmed at the top of the same off-ramp. View in Google Maps
