Brief Plot
Bonnie flips her cruiser on the way back from Bakersfield, and the only witness is a boy she talks to on the CB. Grossman is writing an article for Highway Patrol magazine about hallucinations experienced while driving.
Plot
Bonnie is in her cruiser driving back from Bakersfield and talking on her radio to Corey Marshall, a boy with a CB. A truck seems to appear out of nowhere in front of Bonnie and she swerves to avoid it and drives off the road, flipping her cruiser. Through his telescope, the boy on the CB witnesses her vehicle swerve and flip. He gets excited and begins to stutter as he informs his mother, Mrs. Marshall, of the accident. Ponch and Jon respond to a call for units in the vicinity of Livermore Canyon and head off to rescue Bonnie.
