Brief Plot

Ponch and Jon try to apprehend a jewel thief who has hit several condos in Marina del Ray. Ponch tries to befriend a recovering girl who was injured by the thief during his escape.

Plot

After a long labor day weekend has just ended summer vacation on Monday, and the kids are now finally going back to school this morning. While on duty Ponch and Jon had just finished exiting the Marina Freeway, and happen to be riding along the coast of the recently vacant Santa Monica State Beach. After Jon has just finished listening to Ponch complain about wanting to quit the CHP in order to become a lifeguard at the beautiful white sand beach, and decides that his best friend might need a little bit of cheering up today. Ponch is now finally satisfied with his line of work after a little cheering up from Jon. Meanwhile a young college dropout now turned master jewel thief named Chuck has just broken into a rich couples condo in the small seaside community of Marina del Ray, and is now going though the dresser doors until he finds a small jewelry box. After opening up the small jewelry box Chuck now finds out that contains three very expensive real gemstone rings, including a string of real pearls, and a set of real gold and silver bracelets. Chuck now decides to take advantage of the rich woman by stealing her very expensive pieces of jewelry out of the box by placing them into a soft case, and eventually will be breaking out of their condo.

While Ponch and Jon are now riding around in the small community shopping area of Lincoln Boulevard. After Chuck has just finished taking advantage of the rich woman by stealing all her very expensive pieces of jewelry, and he now walks out of her condo carrying a soft case of recently stolen items. Chuck is now walking down the steps in order to get to a certain recently stolen red dirt bike, and accidentally drops his soft case full of jewelry after tripping a middle aged blonde haired man. Chuck now decides to apologized to the middle aged blonde haired man for accidentally tripping him, and walks towards his soft jewelry case in order to retrieve the stolen items. After the middle aged blonde haired man witnesses Chuck putting his wife’s recently stolen jewelry back into the soft case, and runs up the steps to his condo in order to call the police. Chuck now decides to finished putting the recently stolen jewelry back into the soft case, and decides to get back on the dirt back in order to leave the scene of the crime.

After Chuck decides to leave the scene of the crime in the condo area by taking off on a recently stolen dirt bike. While Ponch and Jon are still riding around the small community shopping area, and received a call from the LAPD dispatcher in order to give a little police pursuit of a male jewel thief riding around a stolen dirt bike that is actually transporting jewelry. Chuck is speeding though traffic while riding around on the stolen dirt bike, and very quickly turns the corner by almost cutting off a pedestrian in the crosswalk. Ponch and Jon actually manage to spot their suspect now speeding around the corner while riding around a stolen dirt bike that is transporting jewelry, and decide to give a police pursuit. Chuck now decides to speed up in order to go a little faster until he looks over to see Ponch and Jon giving him a little police pursuit.

Jon now reports to the LAPD dispatcher about being in pursuit of the jewel thief suspect riding around on recently stolen dirt bike by using his CB Radio. Ponch and Jon now decide to speed up in order to give a police pursuit to a certain male jewel thief that has just been suspected on stealing jewelry. Chuck now very quickly speeds around the corner while being pursued by Ponch and Jon, and eventually decides to speed around another corner. Ponch and Jon are still hot pursuit of their male jewel thief suspect that is still speeding though the city streets for a few miles by taking shortcuts around the corners. Chuck now reaches the dead end street, and decides to speed very quickly around the corner while still being pursued by Ponch and Jon.

Meanwhile there are pedestrians that are bicycle riding, roller skating, and walking along the coastal path of the beautiful white sand beach. While a young teenage schoolgirl named Keli Adams is riding her favorite baby blue bicycle along the coastal path of the beautiful white sand beach on the way to middle school. There are pedestrians rolling stating in the crosswalk while Ponch and Jon are still in hot pursuit of their jewel thief suspect. Chuck now speeds though the crosswalk, and then very quickly decides to turn the corner by cutting off some pedestrians while entering the costal path. Ponch and Jon are now forced to cut though the road closed signs. Chuck is now speeding along the coastal path of the beautiful white sand beach. Ponch and Jon are still in hot pursuit of their jewel thief suspect in the other direction.

Chuck is still speeding along the coastal path of the white sand beach in the same direction that Keli is riding her bicycle. Chuck now looks up to see a young schoolgirl riding along the coastal path of the white sand beach in the same direction, and accidentally swerves by knocking Keli off her bicycle. Jon wants Ponch to give the injured victim some help while he continues to pursue the jewel thief suspect. Jon now talks off in one direction, and Ponch has to go in the other direction. A couple of pedestrians are now rushing over help Keli get back up while Ponch is arriving in that same direction. Chuck now speeds across the city parking lot, and is unaware that Jon still in hot pursuit of him riding around a recently stolen dirt bike while transporting jewelry.
