After a long labor day weekend has just ended summer vacation on Monday, and the kids are now finally going back to school this morning. While on duty [[Ponch]] and [[Jon]] had just finished exiting the [[Marina Freeway]], and happen to be riding along the coast of the recently vacant beach area of [[Santa Monica]]. Brief Plot
Ponch and Jon try to apprehend a jewel thief who has hit several condos in Marina del Ray. Ponch tries to befriend a recovering girl who was injured by the thief during his escape.
