Cheryl Wydemeyer is actually the wife of Officer Steve Wydemeyer who was killed in the line duty. She was accompained by Bonnie to the hospital, and was given the bad news by Getraer about her husband Steve dying in the hospital a few hours later after the hit and run accident on the Harbor Freeway.
