Sgt. Chapman is a sergeant for the West L.A. CHP office. When Getraer is seriously injured while in pursuit of a gas truck in High Octane, Chapman fills in for Getraer at Central. He makes it clear that his allegiance is to West L.A. He enjoys coaching and playing roller hockey.
