Color options

I considered using California official colors (blue/yellow) for the background and border, but it seemed a bit busy. Decided to stick with the basic setup used by English Wikipedia to facilitate visual association with their rights notices.


Jurisdiction

In the original Wikipedia (English) template that I took this from, the notice contains language that states that the fair use is constrained on the English Wikipedia servers, located in the United States.

I suspect this might be valid to include in the CHiPs Wiki, but the language would obviously have to be different. I omitted it to streamline the language, because:

  • there are not CHiPs Wikis in other languages at present
  • I was not 100% sure that the CHiPs Wiki is housed on a server within the physical confines of the United States
