Brief Plot

Officers mediate a feud between teenagers. Ponch and Jon intervene when some irate surfers chase the Valley kids who bumped their car. Meanwhile, a couple of thieves use trash pickup as a cover to rip off beach-goers' tape decks.

Plot

While riding along the Pacific Coast Highway of Malibu State Beach Ponch and Jon are on duty, and a both the driver and the passenger cruising along in a Mercedes starts waving at them. Ponch now looks at both of them, all of sudden starts smiling, and wants to know how Jon‘s summer tan in coming along today. Jon is not sure if he can keep up with Ponch for the results. Ponch now wants Jon to stick with it for the results. Jon is now thankful to Ponch for the encouragement. Ponch and Jon while still riding all of sudden read last years welcome mat from the surfers as warning to the Hispanic people about coming to their beach. Ponch and Jon are still riding, the kids are playing, and all of sudden three teenage surfers are cruising along in a retire Oldsmobile Ambulance with teenage surfer that is actually surfing the high waves which is actually painted on the back of the ambulance.

The teenage surfing trio are actually listing to some music on the radio, and singing along to a brand new song while driving along the coast on the way to the beach. All of sudden the teenage surfers find the perfect parking spot, but theirs one problem the Ford Galaxie in the parking spot is park too close. The brunette teenage passenger doubts his buddy about be able to parallel park in that situation. The blond teenage driver of the ambulance now wants to be rude by deciding to do a stupid parallel parking move, now wants his buddies to learn by pulling into the parking space, and he decides to keep backing up until finally managing to park right on the front bumper of the Ford Econoline.

After parking right on the front bumper of the van, and the teenage surfing trio finally get of the ambulance. The brunette teenager finally takes off his white shirt, while his buddy opens up the back door of the ambulance, now noticing the coyote in the desert scene which is actually painted on the back of the van, and thinks funny of somebody else having hard getting out of the parking spot. The sandy blond teenager finally hands him a surfboard. The blond teenager who doesn’t care of his stupid parallel parking move, now notices the coyote in the desert scene on the back of the van, thinking that the people from the valley are her, and insults race not knowing the owner of the van is actually Hispanic. Both teenagers now decide make fun of the coyote in the desert scene on the back of the van by howling at it. The sandy blond teenager would like his buddy to pull up, and them some room. The brunette teenager doesn’t care, and the blond teenager wants to hit the beach. The teenage surfing trio now agrees to hit the beach with their surfboards.
