Cinemobile Systems, a subsidiary of Taft Entertainment Company, has been credited as providing location services or location facilities on over 100 motion pictures or television shows as far back as 1970. They provided location services on the "CHiPs" television series. These services and facilities enabled production outside of a studio.
In the mid-1990s, they started being credited for providing grip and lighting equipment. This service was provided through 2001.
