Dave was a former drug-sniffing police dog owned by Harlan Arliss.[1]
For some reason, Dave didn't like Getraer when he arrived at Ponch's housewarming party and growled.[2]
While Harlan was working on the state's secret "Supercycle" project, Jon and Ponch asked if Harlan was working on it, but he denied the rumor. As if on cue, Dave ran over and pulled the cover off a hidden supercycle.[3]
